![]() Velen is here to aid you! Unfortunately, he doesn't heal that often but does help with Holy Ward orbs. ![]() Nether Horrors can move while channeling this ability. Nether Storm - After a long cast, begins a channel which will deal massive damage to anything nearby. These adds carry over from phase one, so the less you get in phase one the better.Ĥ Nether Horror continue to spawn from portals around the arena approximately every 40 seconds. Melee attacks made against this debuffed player heal Krull for 5% of his health. Twisted Reflection - An interruptable spell that will place Twisted Reflection on the target. Netherstomp - Krull jumps on his target and leaves a fire puddle that deals massive damage to any creature standing in it. Interrupting Krull's cast of Annihilate will make him cast it again. Periodically throughout the phase, purple beams will cross the platform which attempt to push the player off the platform.Īnnihilate - Krull will use this on his primary target and increase all damage taken. Psytalons - The Nether Horror's melee attacks will apply Psytalons. You can use Goblin Glider Kit if you are hit by this. Smash - The infernal will smash in a straight line in front of it, knocking all enemies back. This occurs until the Smoldering Infernal reaches 20% health, at which point the Smoldering Infernal will take bonus physical damage. The Smoldering Infernal never truly dies and will reform after some time.įel Resonation - The infernal will lose 10% health and deal minor damage to all enemies. Inquisitive Stare - A channeled spell that, when completed, will knock back its target if the target is not facing the eye. Mind Rend - An interruptable cast that deals moderate damage to the target.ĭrain Life - An interruptable cast that drains health from its target. Phase 1 takes place against Inquisitor Variss (80.6mil HP) and Phase 2 takes place against Highlord Kruul (77.9mil HP) himself.Īura of Decay - The inquisitor is always surrounded by a Necrotic Aura which reduces your max health as you stand in it. The above two are probably the best two, but really almost every legendary has some value in this scenario, so don't feel like you have to have them to complete it. ![]() Sephuz's Secret Permament +movement speed, which you can also reliably proc on cooldown.Tyelca, Ferren Marcus's Stature Two extra target hits allow you hit the pack of 4 adds + Inquisitor.Goblin Glider Kit Can be incredibly useful to get you back on the platform if you get knocked off.īelow are the Talents/Legendarys I recommend using.ĭue to nature of this being a solo scenario, some of the legendaries excel far above their usual usefulness.Koi-Scented Stormray or Lavish Suramar Feast or Bear Tartare. This is the world first kill by Lazel from FSY.Īll of the tank Scenarios are among the most difficult, as such i am going to recommend you have an item level of around 930+ and 66 or more Artifact traits, if you are confident in your ability you can do it at significantly lower item levels, but you may run into some difficulty. But eh.This guide is about the Legion version of the Mage Tower Challenge, that isn't accessible anymore.Ĭlick here for the updated Protection Paladin Mage Tower Timewalking Challenge Guide Granted, I did the new version on characters that were level 50, so some of them were missing some helpful traits. There's no shortage of people eager to claim that "They're all faceroll" or something, but they're definitely harder than in Legion. It's ironic that gear actually has such a huge impact on this version that's supposed to be scaled and blah blah specifically to prevent that!īut yeah, all the new fights seem tuned to be significantly more challenging. (Didn't have one on my Ret, but I wiped the floor with them on my Enhancement Shammy that has one.) Alternatively, cheese it with some really OP trinkets like Ravaged Seed Pod, which lets you kill them long before the bad overlaps happen. Later in the fight - I forget which Blood cast it is - just leave her CC'ed so that you skip the really bad ability overlap that happens. I did most of my Mage Tower runs with really poor gear since I didn't even play most of the characters I did it on.Īll you can do is cleave all three at once and get Repentance on Sigryn before Blood of the Father finishes casting so that you can just keep cleaving all three no matter what. It was absurdly simple for me back in Legion as well, and not even because of gear. (In fact, most of the mage tower fights are now). Things frustrating me to no end. It's much tighter now. I don't remember being this bad at WoW when I quit. ![]() I literally am getting crushed and even struggling with the DPS check. Granted I haven't played WoW since Nathria, but I literally beat this in Legion in less than 5 tries the day it launched before whatever raid launched at that time (can't remember if it was before NH or before Antorus). I put probably like 80 attempts into this thing. ![]()
